Nexperia B.V. has reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, highlighting resilient business performance despite a challenging operating environment.

During the quarter, Nexperia generated revenue of $300.3 million. The company stated that its results were affected by supply chain constraints, including the loss of control over its operations in China and the refusal of local management to comply with Nexperia’s operational processes. Despite these challenges, the company maintained operational stability and delivered solid financial performance through financial discipline and the early benefits of strategic investments.

Nexperia noted that its operations outside China remained profitable, demonstrating the strength of its underlying business. The company also reported a strong financial position, supported by a healthy cash balance that continues to fund daily operations and ongoing investments.

The company achieved positive net income and positive operating cash flow during the first quarter. Combined with recently secured external financing, these results have enabled Nexperia to advance its recovery efforts while continuing to invest in future growth initiatives.

As part of its strategy to strengthen supply chain resilience, Nexperia is progressing with the expansion of its backend manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and the Philippines. According to the company, these investments are intended to support a more geographically balanced manufacturing footprint and enhance long-term operational flexibility.

Nexperia also highlighted a number of recent strategic collaborations, including partnerships with U.S.-based wafer foundry Polar Semiconductor, power electronics specialist Semikron Danfoss, and engineering company IAV. The company stated that these collaborations reflect its continued focus on innovation and its position in key growth markets and applications.

Ongoing investments in research and development remain a strategic priority, with the company aiming to strengthen its product portfolio, support long-term innovation, and address emerging opportunities in areas such as AI server infrastructure, robotics, industrial systems, and automotive applications. Nexperia also pointed to recent product introductions as evidence of its continued commitment to delivering solutions that improve efficiency and performance across its target markets.

Commenting on the results, Stefan Tilger, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Nexperia, said that the company’s first-quarter performance demonstrates the resilience of its business and reflects the effectiveness of actions taken to stabilize operations. He noted that the company is beginning to see signs of recovery while continuing to support customers and maintain operational reliability.

Tilger added that Nexperia remains profitable, maintains a strong cash position, and continues to receive support from external financing partners, reflecting confidence in the company’s long-term outlook.

Looking ahead, Nexperia stated that its primary focus remains on strengthening supply chain resilience and ensuring reliable product delivery to customers worldwide.
